It has been pointed out that this looks like I'm flaming ken here
but that was not the intention and I apologize for not proofreading
it more carefully before I sent it out. ken said he was not convinced
by the logical arguments against god's existence that showed that
the properties of godhood lead to a contradiction because this
argument is merely a failure of imagination. But the same can be said
about any logical argument ("just because you can't imagine a contradiction
happening doesn't mean it can't happen"), so I didn't think the rest of
Martin's book would convince ken either.
