Although you'll probably view this as a clever retort, I just want to point out that I'm not accusing you, Reed, or anyone here of making the (primitive) argument I cited -- I was using it to illustrate my point about a position based on knowledge being better than one based on ignorance.
However, since you seem to dislike my examples as regards theistic arguments (in the last week I've used two christian examples, two atheist examples and an IPU example), I will endevor in the future to use less controversial ones.
