No, it ain't you- that article was symptomatic of most of your objections, as well as indicative of the state of distance from the subject of the researchers- the principal researcher came to the conclusion that 'computers are bad' because she was playing solitaire on her new Wintel machine, which, to me, points only to the fact of her own computer illiteracy.

But there were other studies (of perhaps just as errant perspective) of increased depression and such.... How I long for the days when there were studies of improved eye-to-hand coordination and increased interest in math and science when computers first came upon the classroom....
