Did you check the context? No really. This is the last sentence in the
paragraph you quoted about "Who is the Son of Man". After complementing
Peter for seeing him as a savior he tells him to keep it to himself. I
think that is important to note.

I'm trying to show you that "the ministry" was created post-Jesus. By the
disciples. Probably with only the best of intentions. But JC was about
person-to-person enlightenment, not starting a church (IMHO). In all his
travels did he ever tell anyone to construct a temple for him? Or honor
*his* name? No. In fact he deflected all such questions away with
statements like, "The power and glory go to my father in heaven". I'm
just wondering why, if his "mission" was to set up a "ministry" as you
say?
