Glad to here I do understand!
The idea that "everything happens on the border of chance and order"
reminds me of Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintence, where Pirsig
talks about the train of knowledge... all the action is at the front of
the train, working in the *unknown*, learning "laterally". Certainly
the ideas of conquering "chance" and conquering "time" are very
similar... in fact even related by "entropy" (which I will be studying
in thermodynamics in about a weeks time)
