I'm afraid 10 seems over the top for *any* book, to me
(apart perhaps for Ulysses and Infinite Jest).
But what I was really looking for was what part memes
specifically play in the Explanation. On the other hand,
I suspect that's unanswerable, because in fact it's not
a single coherent explanation of consciousness, being
more like an account of Dennett's views on the mind,
which are interesting and hang together well, but do
*not* cover all the ground there is to be covered. Not
that I can really back this up on the basis of a couple
of chapters and a few reviews!
