B: The question of identity falls into the idea of ego and I've found myself to
>>have a passive ego, or Self, which asserts its "mind" in response to
>>"violence".

RC: OK, stop here. Where are you deriving your idea of "ego" from? Freud?
>What other kinds of egos are there, other than passive? What are the

>an analogy?

Where am I deriving my idea of ego from? It is a constructed idea and it's
parts are being discussed so that its self-evidence can be illuminated--I am
not Freud although we both have been known to use the term "ego". To sum
the post, ego is "a passive construct of Self which is formed in response to
violence."

What other kinds of egos are there other than passive?: I am speaking of "a
passive construct of Self which is formed in response to violence".

What are the characteristics of these egos?: They may be anything but
"passive", "constructed", "selves"...and may be come into existence anyway
other than being "formed", "as a response", *to* "violence"; but, I am not
speaking of other constructs.

Do all passive egos assert mind in response to violence?: That is what I am
implying.

What do you mean by that?: That ego is a passive construct of Self which is
formed in response to violence.

Can you give an example or an analogy?: I am using myself as analogy and
have stated that "I have found myself" to have a passive construct of Self
which is formed in response to violence.
