We do have some good shoulders to stand on with the physical and
biologic sciences. I've been reading E.O. Wilson's "Sociobiology"
and his essay "On Human Nature." He seems to have a good grasp of
how to divide his part of the physical world. The world of virtual
reality that we carry around in our heads seems a bit more slippery
and hard to pin down.
