This is by far my wife's favourite movie; consequently, I have had to
sit through it on many occasions. I like a lot of the lines but I have
mixed feelings about it : there's a lot of corny stuff too. I appreciate
the fact that it's a parody but not all of it held my interest.
After we finish "The Princess Bride" can we do Mel Brooks' "Young
Frankenstein"? That's probably the greatest spoof movie of all time.
BTW my favourite line from "The Princess Bride" is (from memory) :-
"You've been mostly dead all day".
One could write volumes about the wit contained in that one sentence.
