I have to echo this sentiment. _Snow Crash_ is one of the best
cyber-(insert appropriate buzzword here) books to come out, equalling
_Neuromancer_ in philosophical depth. A possible real-world
equivalent of the Snow Crash virus could be made by combining
memetics, Julian Jaynes' work, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming
[memetic warfare, anyone?]
