The Absolute truth which I've been arguing does not exist would be a set
of propositions (or one long compound propostion) which describes the
objective state of the universe, and it would be a set of propositions
which could not be improved upon or made more useful. It would be
ideal. Many people, while they have probably never articulated it so
precisely, think that science is closing in on just such an ideal set of
propostions. Kuhn suggests that we abandon that idea, and I'm
increasingly in agreement with him on that one point.

Take care. -KMO
