It's more complicated than THAT. Religious fanaticism is quite
compatible with intelligence; in my case, I will suddenly go 'average
intelligence' [trust me, this feels DUMB!] if I am violating my religious
strictures. I think this qualifies as religious fanaticism, even if I am
not called to the fine art of antievangelism.
