Kenneth Boyd presented good arguments for accepting the proposition that
cumulative selection and random mutation alone are not sufficient to
account for the variety of life that we see given the time frame in which
these forces have had the opportunity to shape the universe. I agree.
There are most likely other processes which we have yet to explore which
can account for the complexity of living organisms given the time
available. Noice that Kenneth did not move from the conclusion that the
current theories are insufficient to the further conclusion that science
is bunk and scientists are all frauds and dogmatists.
