I agree with you forest.
All the intellectualizationin the world is useless unless it increases
our quality of life- including the smelling of flowers and the loving of
people and other creatures.
Although this medium makes it look like we spend our lives at a
computer, I assure you that is probably not the case for most of us.
I, for one, am a member of a Physical Theatre Centre in Vancouver. The
name of our centre is TooBa. It is a sanskrit word meaning " a
life-giving tree found in heaven". The name embodies the philosophy of
our centre which incorporates theatre training and training in the
healing arts. We do yoga, dance therapy, tai chi and many other
enlightening and creative activities that incorporate the mind, body
*and* spirit.
I'm sure that many other people on this list have similar methods of
integrating their physical/mental/emotional sides.
