Okay...then how come, despite the pressure from society to be "straight" all these years, and given that many homosexuals have _not_ produced any children, there are still many homosexuals, generation after generation? It doesn't appear to be enitrely genetic, or memetic.

I think this 'androgyne' stuff is a lot less like hermaphrodites, and actually more about the unity of male and female. Again, don't take it to mean 'androgyny', per se, because I still think it's about the mixture and balance of the two sexes, not the absence of any characteristics. Originally, I indentified myself as an androgyne not because I look like Pat, but because I don't feel like 100% ONLY female, but rather about half and half. I judge this by the way I think and my behavior, not by outward appearance. "Union of opposites"....yeah, that's a good way to describe me. But I wouldn't stress "perfection" as the web site does, as no one is perfect.
