In my experience, the greatest evil (and the greatest good) are words, not deeds. Evil words infect simple people like cancer, and turn their deeds towards evil ends. Good words are like spring rain.

But, I agree, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. That is why good people must have the faith to stand by their convictions.
