Here's an interesting vector: if you are attracted to this idea and
belief system it probably means you are a demi-god. Should the CoV
make a similar claim? ;-)

David,
You are right, it was a powerfully engineered meme. Even if "genetic memory" is total and complete bullshit (as a little thinking on genetics tells me it must be), they have managed to name off enough meme-complexes and orginizations --
"For people into Holy Blood Holy Grail, Earth-based traditions (wicca, etc), Mary Magdalene, Asherah (Yahweh's wife), Isis, the Sacred Marriage"
"Lots of Kaballah, Esoteric, Rosicrucian, Gnostic, Occult, Wicca-Christian, Knights Templar stuff. "
to draw in just about everybody who knows anything about the more mystical sides of Christianity and Judaism[1]. The final pitch of "don't deny it, come join us at <sgsdg>" is a classic call for action.
I seriously think that Virus (can we conspire for a capital) could benefit from such a pointed marketing tool. Of course, judging by the list volume lately, maybe we have enough members!

[1] What is really scary is the number of terms and orginizations in the above that I am familiar with -- I only had to look "Rosicrucian" up, and it turns out they were probably fictitious, although influential enough anyway... I love my dictionary of religion.
