I'm not unwilling to admit this. Now- in what way will my appreciation of the music be more fulfilling by seeing a live performance? And I am not unwilling to have you say that the 'theatricality' of it is a necessary and sufficient condition for this experience- I am aware, totally, of the 2D'ness of recorded performances.
After all, I (not alone, I'm sure) am unable to simply _listen_ to Wagner....
But, ain't it kind of interesting how many people here know Zorn? I think it is....
