We can't forget the lightning spread of the catch phrase "I'm mad as Hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!" Nor can we forget the subsequent ratings plummett when the "Mad Prophet" began telling the sad "truth" about the powerlessness of the anonymous individual in the face of powerful global corporate forces (Humankind - to paraphrase - can not bear too much "reality.")
And William Hurt's forced camers tear spoke volumes.
