Hello, All! =)

My name is Twizel & I'm fasinated (& terrified!) by the possibilities that nanotechnology predicts. I've read the following works:

Engines of Creation & Unbounding the Future by K. Eric Drexler, et al. (I would really like to get my hands on Nanosystems, too.)

Greg Bear - Blood Music (the short story, not the novel), The Forge of God, Queen of Angels;
Gregory Benford - Tides of Light;
Jeffrey Carver - From a Changeling Star, Down the Stream of Stars; Elton Elliott (Ed.) - Nanodreams (my favorite story here is "Monster Hunt");
William Gibson - Mona Lisa Overdrive;
Harry Harrison & Marvin Minsky - The Turing Option Neal Stephenson - The Diamond Age
Walter Jon Williams - Aristoi (currently reading)

"Classics" I've read years ago...

1941 ...... Microcosmic God ............... Theodore Sturgeon
1952 ...... Surface Tension ............... James Blish
1954 ...... Autofac ....................... Philip K. Dick
1978 ...... Sight of Proteus .............. Charles Sheffield

Take care & I hope to see you on the other side of the Singularity!
