The John Campbell Band is a combination of first class musicians who play Canadian music with a strong Celtic influence.
The band has created a sound that showcases the fresh, exciting songwriting of John Campbell. The band features songs that tell distinctly Canadian tales evoking strong emotions and forgotten memories.
For the past ten years John has been performing with the bands Draught Porridge and First Draft; these bands appeared in numerous festivals and concerts from Vancouver Island to Halifax. These bands also received much acclaim for their albums "First Draft" and "Gael".
From these beginnings, The John Campbell Band moves forward with a format that enjoys the talents of several excellent musicians well known to the Canadian music scene:
